about
Written by Ben Garnett
This was one of the first songs I wrote when I moved to Nashville in 2017. I always imagined it being somewhere in between a song written by Pat Metheny and Alison Krauss. The visualization of starling murmurations across a gray sky always came to mind when writing this.

Brittany Haas — fiddle
Chris Eldridge — guitar/tenor guitar
Ben Garnett — guitar/electronics
Paul Kowert — bass
I've had a mad crush on Natalie Haas's music from the moment I first heard it. To hear both sisters playing together - well, it's a no brainer! If you enjoy folk cello, for want of a better term, just buy this. You won't reget it :-) Joseph Karl
It's just impeccably done. And, it doesn't have vocals, which means it's easier to listen while I work. :)
Last One on the Line is just amazing. I would love to hear more from this group. meatnordrink
Retired Music teacher friend, David Hegdahl, has a former student, Grant Gordy, who has become an AMAZING guitarist...one of my favorite genres...like gypsy jazz: acoustic guitar, mandolin, violin, double bass...WELL worth the listen/purchase...ENJOY! Dirk Snyder

A partnership between Yep Roc and The Southern Folklife Collection, the LP features a never-before-heard live performance by Doc Watson. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 16, 2018
This is just absolutely beautifully arranged instrumental ...bluegrass? Which is sooo hard to find. The instrumentation is lush and the attention to detail exacting. Possibly my favorite find this year.
So hard to pick a favorite track. meatnordrink
